wagner
Battery grip on order, just need to get my memory card(s) from B&H, they seem to have the best price. Now, as far as circular polarizers, what do I need to look for and educate myself on? What about the "must have" items to clean my gear with? I'm starting to get pumped for this trip now and racing season to start
Tractor
I've not used polarizers much, I have a very cheap one that fits a couple of my old consumer lenses. I use Neutral Density filters when I'm wanting to simulate lower light conditions and keep the exposure time long for interesting effects when shooting moving scenes such as waterfalls. Probably work similar for cars in some situations.
mrs.cos
Here this will boggle everyones minds. http://www.lenstip.com/115.1-article-Polarizing_filters_test_Introduction.html *mind asplode* here's review on some modesl of Circular polarizers http://www.digitalcameraworld.com/2013/09/24/best-circular-polarizer-filter-5-top-models-tested-and-rated/ and to quote Armin • One filter to rule them all – Special effect filters can be fun, but there’s only really one filter that you need: the Circular Polarizer. The circular polarizer is key to getting rid of nasty reflections, especially those given off from windshields and other glass. It’ll also help when taking interior trim shots. I never leave home without my circular polarizer, and it should ALWAYS be in your camera bag. The only excuse not to have one is if you have a point and shoot camera that doesn’t support one. Ive posted this before and its a partial sticky that i cant edit becaues its old.. but this STILL is a great article http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94445 *edit* Brian will you unlock that so i can edit it? There has been more info added by the original author that i would like to add.
