His job is to bring successful coaches in, who's job is to bring successful teams is, all in the name of generating money and building the brand. I'd be more alarmed if it was some astronomical (read: 7 figure) amount, but $18k is less than a molecule of a drop of water in the figurative money bucket at OSU. As stated, I don't see an issue. If he does his job, and the people he has under him do their jobs, the university brings in revenue. It's a sales position. I see it as incentive. Like a car lot.
