Need headers installed...

I think this is the right place for this post.

 

Went to install headers on the CTS-V when we noticed one bolt was already broken. Another broke with almost no torque and a few more feel tighter than they should.

 

Trying to avoid pulling the motor or heads. Need a shop to clean up the mess before Friday (have a tune scheduled with Brian). I'm told the best fix is to weld a nut on and extract.

 

Anyone have any recommendations on a reputable shop that can get me in?

I would imagine ips would have no issues with an ls series motor.

Sounds like the heads will need pulled in my opinion.

Call IPS, it will be expensive but they can do it

Sounds like a definite possibility. Steel bolts in an aluminum head can be a real bitch. Be prepared to spend some coin cleaning that up. I could fix it at work, but it won't be by Friday. Best of luck.
