Vintage. Those days were fun auto shows to go to. Side note, someone needs to tell that guy to stop over processing images and not to use them in sale ads. It's a clean car, but the images are highly processed and edited.

This is an ugly car I can get behind. To me, its a type of unique and weird that somehow makes it cool in my eyes.

 

My dad had a friend with a Volvo of that same vintage when I was young, and he had swapped a 5.0 and a T5 into it.

My dad had a pair of hideous, rusty, power-nothing $300 70's Volvos, wish my young memory could figure out which ones - I'd snap one up.

Too late, I owned three from that style, back in the day. One wagon, two sedans, all of them diesels, but none were Bertones. You seldom saw the Bertone kits.

They were actually great cars. I only gave them up because of the 1980's 760 turbo diesel, the nicest Volvo I've owned. Boxy but good:

I came here to post, if it was a diesel, then yes. But, as seen above, that has been the case.
