Lauren
Well I was in the market and narrowed it down to an A4 B5 avant. I ended up buying this one. It was between the one I bought and another with less then ideal colors. The seller was asking $3000. The brakes suck and has a frozen rotor from sitting for 2 years. Passenger window motor was shot as well as regulator. The good. One owner. All Service history. Well maintained. Clutch is good and it drives good. It also has really clean interior with black and cream. Anyway after looking at it I realized it wasn't worth $3000. The seller agreed. I offered her $700 and she took it. It's been sitting in her driveway for 2 years. She was happy to see it go. I've ordered coilovers, new brakes, turbo inlet pipe, new plugs and coil packs , RS grill, and lower door mouldings. Trying to find some cool wheels and tires. Oh new diverter valve as well. That's it for now. Then I'll flush all fluids and drive it for a bit. http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee254/ca18det007/Mobile%20Uploads/F6471100-86C2-4BB3-849E-F7871EFC94CA_zps8csnlfrm.jpg
Lauren
It does run and drive good, but since it has a frozen caliper I decided not to risk driving it home 30 miles so I towed it.
Geeto67
it's a 1.8T? pull the valve cover and look to see if it is sludgy.

Miller
I've wanted a b5 avant for like a decade. Its been a secret I've kept from Jones and Aaron.
SHIEF
What's the avant that errbody wants? Like what year (stick car)?
EssFo
Me personally: http://cartype.com/pics/8021/full/audi_rs2_avant_95.jpg or http://i991.photobucket.com/albums/af40/ted_kennedy/Forum%20pics/rs4hotness.jpg If there's not some sludge in the head I would be (pleasantly) surprised. Would make a good hauler if it's in good mechanical condition.

RyM3rC
If it runs that's a score for $700. Does it have like 200k on it or something? If you get tired of replacing coil packs and sensors let me know and I'll consider taking it off your hands for you.
jeffro
Meh. After all your repairs you're still in it for $1500 bucks. Assuming high miles that's about all its worth. Should be fun either way. Love mine. First car i plan to drive into the ground.
Lauren
It has 143,009 miles. Not bad for a 1999.5 that has been sitting for 2 years and has service history and a full PPI before sale. With all parts and towing fee( this includes new DV, silicone turbo inlet pipe kit and grill, ie not necessary) I'm in it for $1300. I didn't factor in coilovers or wheels and tires because those are purely for my enjoyment. It runs and drives great.

Geeesammy
I've never heard of a rotor being frozen. Should be fun and an easy flip.
Lauren
I meant caliper. Not rotor. Yes will be an easy flip but I think I'll drive this one a bit longer then most simply because I can mod it and it's a manual Oh and let me just say my wife HATES it, which is reason enough for me to keep it and make her ride in it
