Forrest Gump 9
Like the title said. What's the best/easiest way to remove plasticdip? I've never used the stuff so have no clue. TA.

Cordell
Plastidip has to be put on pretty thick to be peeled. Most people don't get it thick enough, if it's been on a while after being applied too thin it's a bitch to get off. Short of chemicals a decent pressure washer will work well. zeitgeist57
I was told to actually spray on another layer of Plasti-Dip...which within a few minutes will dissolve the underlying layer and allow it to be removed a lot easier.
C-Mart
How many layers is considered thick enough?

EssFo
Won't WD-40 work?
Grudes
Try some wheel acid. Scott used it on his Miata wheels and found out it ate up his Plasti-dip.
iwashmycar
Just peel it. Use the ball that you peel off to help peel off the rest. Works pretty well that way...unless you painted some Dayton spokes or something.
j_claytor
Some gas on a rag and a little bit of scrubbing power always worked for me
NWill
Spray the crap out of it with WD40, wait 5 minutes. Wipe away or power wash
Stretch
Just peel it off. If you applied it correctly with enough coats it just peels right off. Done it plenty of times
Forrest Gump 9
Won't WD-40 work? Spray the crap out of it with WD40, wait 5 minutes. Wipe away or power wash I bought four cans of WD40, but only need about 1.5, and about ten dollar worth of time at the car wash. Cleaned everything right off! May have ruin my shirt but that due to my carelessness I'll post some before and after pics later. Thank you all for the suggestions. mrhobbz
Be careful with tryingto power washing it off, I sprayed my entire car and sprayed over some cracks I didn't notice. Pulled the paint right off along with the plastidip

cstmg8
Very nice, I'm becoming more and more a Porsche fan when I see/read about you guys cars. Did you install longer wheel studs, or spacers with studs?
