Hey Tech Gurus:

I started my bike and idled for 20-30 mins (changing coolant) and it gradually died !!!! and then it won't start...... I was running it with open pipe....

I do not have the headlamp wire harness on the bike no brake light bulbs....do ya guys think an open wiring might cause this.....fucked up ....got paranoid after seeing ousley's stator.......

My bike is carbed......where should start....

1. Check spark

2. Carb/engine flooding.....

3. Fuel pump working I know

Yeah' date=' but lean enough to shut the bike down?[/quote']

I was just scaring myself. I've seen lean on oil or fuel cause the pistons to quit moving. Sometimes it seizes, sometimes it just slows down and stops. Pretty darn rare unless it is real extreme. Or it's a two stroke, heh.
