ForeverMaker
Fully loaded R = $40k Base S3 = $41k I'll go with the S3 lol sedans. Can you get a S3 in a manual?

Mr. Jones
I think the mk7 6mt would make a fantastic daily. I should see if they are accepting deposits yet.
CRed05
S3 = DSG Only. R = 6MT. 6MT wins. I didn't see 6MT as an option on VW's website. I do prefer sedans over girly hatch backs.
Aaron
Fully loaded R = $40k Base S3 = $41k I'll go with the S3 So you prefer to get a base car over a loaded car and spend MORE? S3 = DSG Only. R = 6MT. 6MT wins. This lol sedans. This I think the mk7 6mt would make a fantastic daily. I should see if they are accepting deposits yet. Aaron
The S3 options into the low to mid 50s.
CRed05
So you prefer to get a base car over a loaded car and spend MORE? Seems to work for Lambo Superleggera's and Porsche RS cars. Think of the S3 as a Golf R "Superleicht" A base Audi is like half loaded VW.
Mr. Jones
I'm weird in that the only option I MUST have now is kessy... It's awful going between a car that has it and one that doesn't. That and the usual heated seats, everything else is negotiable. keekeke
Miller
That's pretty impressive, seriously. Having driven the newest STI's and the last model year of Evo I begin to understand the premium on the R. Aaron's R interior comfort and function made them both look like base model Toyota crap and I was just riding along. I understand they're all very similar in performance. Orion
In no way, shape, or form is that remotely true, on any planet. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, in the defense of Saab, I humbly submit the following; Saab JAS 39 Gripen

Orion
They are a bit pricey too. True, but far superior to any of Volkswagons comparable offerings.
Versluis
I love the S3 and R. I wasn't a huge fan of the R when it first came out because I was use to the model that Aaron has, the MKV and the MKIV. Finally saw an R on the road in Cincinnati this week and it looked great. Too bad my GLI didn't get the 2.0T that is in the GTI (although similar).
