STEVE-O
https://www.lily.camera Anyone even conaider buying one? Looks pretty sweet but seems like we are almost taking the selfie stick to new highs. If I saw 10 people going down a snowboard hill with these things I'd probably have to tackle them instantly. To me it seems like another great concept item but in reality would be one of the most annoying things ever unless your doing concert coverage or something along those lines
408 on a budget
It would be cool at the track if you were there by yourself.
Miller
Airdog, Ghost and Hexo have done the same thing. They seem to be capable of tracking automotive hobbies. Not sure if this one would be able or not.
ImUrOBGYN
That's really cool.

SpaceGhost
I can see hipsters using these just walking downtown....
Draco-REX
I'd love to have one... but drones aren't allowed at SCCA events.

What?! really? that seems like the prime time to watch to use your drone camera? are they afraid of some sort of safety issue? multiple drones at the same time etc... HotCarl
There's a guy on Instagram who uses something similar when he makes hockey videos, hockey is a really hard sport to get good video on b/c of all the obstructions. Wonder if NHL would ever allow NBC to use one for larger events, similar to a wire camera the NFL uses.
zeitgeist57
That would be cool for CC&C or car shows where you get a low angle as you walk through, or drive around, the rows of cars.
KentStateTsi
The pre order a few months ago was $500 and has been going up slowly to the planned retail price. Cool idea but lacking a few necessities. There is no obstacle avoidance in flight and no manual control.

Stuff like this always boils down to safety concerns. I think they worry that a drone will strike a corner worker or distract another driver.
