Berto
I probably am friends with most of you outside of here, on 'the facebook' but I know there are other photogs here. Which websites are you using to sell work? And why? I took the plunge and decided i'd try to see if I can sell some of my images. http://norberto-nunes.pixels.com/
TTQ B4U
Congrats man! You have some very very nice work. Should do well. Can't help you on the web site part as my work is all corporate photography and editing. When I shot sports and did market to families I used Smug Mug. Main reason was the fees were reasonable and the site well known.
mrs.cos
So couple of options- etsy is one way to start off - 500px, shootoroof, smugmug and Zenfolio. Most profitable would likely be printing as needed - Wordpress I believe there are plenty of shopping cart plugins that would work. Marketing yourself will be the biggest thing to get your sales going. I would bet you could go into local coffee shops and sell prints there too

I'm kind of in the same boat as Tim, and what I do sell is usually digital or a print by print basis off of what people see online. Your work is outstanding and if you can find the right market it should sell well.
Doc1647545523
Beautiful images. I'm glad to see that you will be sharing them with a wider circle of people.
Berto
Thanks for the kind words! over 90% of these pictures were from my D3100, before upgrading! This particular site, i'm paying $30 for a yr. You basically set your own margins, how much you want to make for a print or whatever. So the price is whatever it costs them to make the items ordered, plus your margin. If I can break even I guess i'll keep the site. Its tough to market this stuff. I don't want to be that guy, that his wife sells junk jewlery at 'parties' and every friggin' holiday says "hey man want to buy some of my wife's jewlery, make you a discount". Rant off though. At this point my only marketing is when i post my pictures on FB I will post a link to my site with the option to purchase should anyone want it. However, i'm limiting my market to my friends and family. The site's search engine is pretty good, and I've been diligent about my tags, wonder how many people actually purchase on there? mrs.cos
Look you gotta market- no one is going to search you out if they don't know you exist. Instagram is doing pretty good lately for photogs- I would encourage utilizing that if you aren't already
Tractor
I really like your images. Especially your tight in prospective shots such as the one of the ships wheel and throttle. If your really serious, try to find ways to show off your work in person at art shows, etc. Especially if you have time and enjoy that sort of thing you'd meet people and learn things that you'd miss by just marketing. I know a guy who is into trains and photography so he sets up a stand at train geek gatherings and he does actually sell his work. I set up once at the Sunbury antique show that they hold on memorial and labor days each year and was just advertising, but had several people wanting to buy a few landscapes on the spot. Tractor
You maybe have some luck selling some of them as digital stock though thats not a real nice way to sell the stuff compared to a nice Canvas
