That being said, if ol' whats his name can get permits to run the hoonicorn around LA, how hard is it really to get a film permit for Orange County? Proof that the gubment needs to get paid first. Just in a quick search turns up a special event street closure fee schedule. If he had an NFP 501©(3) he could have paid $75 per street closure, and if it was just a regular business it would have been $100 per street closure. Most SoCal cities run about $100-$150. Geeto67 Posted March 24, 2016 Report Share Posted March 24, 2016 We used to use the block party association in Brooklyn to close down two streets and have a bike show and mini bike races for 7 years straight, I don't see why you couldn't do something similar here. Keep in mind if you are thinking about an impromptu drag race with real street cars the city might have some different requirements but it's nothing money can't fix.
