My new HR1 Pocket Exhaust.

The pipe sits well off to the side of the tire. No chance of it rubbing the tire.

As for quality control, I did have some of the rivets fall out. I had the back pressure plates closed off to much and created to much heat in the can. I called HR1 and I sent the can back. They reconditioned the can and sent it back with no cost at all. Looked brand new and left the plates open. No issues.

How does it not rub the tire under suspension load?

Looks kinda cool...

There's a rubber mounting bracket you have to flip over which angles the can out further, mine is a GP style, (2004) doesn't rub at all, I haven't had any quality issues as of yet, it's been on a little over a year. They recommend tightening the rivets that hold the can on every once in a while, but that's just basic maintenance.
