caseyctsv
I know it has been asked before but I could not find it. Where can I get a new key made for my daughters 2007 Eclipse? The dealer wants 216.00 - there has to be a better option. I know it is not a 10-15.00 thing but this is ridiculous!
caseyctsv
FWIW I have a key that works and such - just need a back up.

caseyctsv
Hmmm - still looks like I would have to have it programmed, but maybe the dealer won't rape me on that piece.
Green Bastard
Try calling some locksmiths around town. Some have the ability to program the keys too. Also, you could look to see if there is a learn procedure for new keys (most that work this way need 2 keys already to learn more).

It looks like the dealer will cut and program the key for 60.00 so, I can get the one you linked for 59 and programmed for 60 - still better than the 216.00 quote so thanks! BBQdDude
Lowes believe it or not also does key programming. You can call and ask for hardware. Then feed them year, make and they will tell you if they can and how much.
