o0n8
Came across this on the BaT Facebook page. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1986-mercury-capri-asc-mclaren-coupe/ The engine retains its original bottom end, but the top end has been substantially updated with numerous aftermarket parts including an original Ford Racing MAF conversion kit. The current setup has been dyno-tuned for 93 octane, but can be reflashed for other fuels. Other modifications include: •New BBK Air Mass Meter •New BBK throttle body •24 lb. injectors •RPM Performer 2 upper intake manifold (Black Out edition) •Cold Air Intake •Ceramic coated long tube headers •H-Pipe with custom exhaust and flowmaster mufflers •New fuel tank with 255 lph pump •New fuel rails •Adjustable Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator •BBK Liquid filled fuel pressure gauge http://13252-presscdn-0-94.pagely.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/0-3-940x705.jpg http://13252-presscdn-0-94.pagely.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/2-40-620x465.jpg Even with the updates it's probably not the fastest, but it's pretty cool to me. zeitgeist57
I knew about ASCMcLaren Mustangs in the 80s, but didn't know they were on 4-eyed, early 80s versions...especially the Mercury Capri. That is cool. EDIT: and then I saw the rust in the lower door edges. :fa::fa::fa:
Miller
I would be on this if I hadn't just bought the Porsche :fa:
