zeitgeist57
I just drove a coworkers A7 (stock) and it was an amazing car. Roofline is surprisingly low, but the lines, quality, versatility of the hatchback design are all major winners in my book. http://www.autoblog.com/2016/08/19/cadillac-escala-concept-pebble-beach/ http://o.aolcdn.com/dims-global/dims3/GLOB/legacy_thumbnail/750x422/quality/95/https://s.blogcdn.com/slideshows/images/slides/402/280/6/S4022806/slug/l/2016-cadillac-escala-concept-exterior-003-1.jpg http://i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/354/598/ef7.gif I'm getting older...what can I say? If it worked for Lexus to copy Mercedes back in the '90s to get where they need to...and EVERYONE apes Audi's design elements, hopefully it works for Cadillac! 99StockGT
Does the rear have a beak on it similar to the Acura front end design or is that just shadows? Always a fan of comfortable long low sedan though!
zeitgeist57
Ugh...now that you mentioned the Acura TL "rear-beak" I cannot unsee that...
xlr8tn
that's an ugly ass car right there...literally like nothing about it.
aussiek2000
I hope they never make it. I'm getting tired of working on these overly complicated new Cadillacs.

Replacing upper and lower control arms, front shocks, and all the bits on a customer's newish CTS currently. He's a road warrior so miles wrack up fast. The cost of parts and the amount of work involved is absolutely STAGGERING. Completely agree!
o0n8
Lincoln Continental looks better IMO. http://www.autoblog.com/2015/03/30/lincoln-continental-concept-new-york-official-photos-videos/#slide-3408816 http://o.aolcdn.com/dims-global/dims3/GLOB/legacy_thumbnail/750x422/quality/95/http://www.blogcdn.com/slideshows/images/slides/340/878/4/S3408784/slug/l/lincolncontinentalconcept-03-rear-1.jpg
AngryBMW
Id rock it. Still wish they would have produced the Ciel. I would own that car right now if they did. -Marc
Otis Nice
that's an ugly ass car right there...literally like nothing about it. 100% agree. Looks very non-American. Classic caddies were difference makers. This looks like a new 'Stang stuck it in an OOOOdi's tailpipe and this thing popped out 9 months later. TTQ B4U
Looks like the rear of a Jag XJ with front profile of a 7 Series. Overall I like the Jag XJ's better. http://www.caranddriver.com/images/13q2/510832/2014-jaguar-xjr-l-instrumented-test-review-car-and-driver-photo-524314-s-original.jpg So while these are what Clay will talk about getting, here's the Caddy Clay will actually end up with http://blog.caranddriver.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/1976-Cadillac-Eldorado-Bicentennial-101.jpgSave
xlr8tn
growing up at one point we had an early/mid 70's sedan deville. We could almost play football in the back seat of that thing. That would be an awesome car to own now. Imagine pulling up next to a smart car in that

To remove the exhaust, you have to take off the rear bumper cover. Forget trying to do interior work, about 9 million pieces that all overlap and snap when you touch them.
