BStowers023
I'm just curious, how did you get temp tags for a car you never signed the back of the title for? It was out an out of state purchase (PA). I'm not sure though. We (me and the seller) went to some title agency and got the notary, title and bill of sale and they issued me a temp tag. It cost me $60 because I was an idiot and didn't bring a spare tag from another one of my cars.
PapaFark
Do it right and pay the taxes. Also always fill out a bill of sale with the agreed price and have both parties sign it. Ohio is now checking prices to book values and if you do not fall into their acceptable price range you will get a letter asking you to prove what you disclosed in your sale. If you lowball a price and you cheat the taxes, you will get caught! They started this last year. Just my 2 cents. It doesn't pay to cheat to save $50!
