It's time to let Black Betty go and work on the new car.

The basics,

Built from a rust free NC car.

NASA log book.

1 of 1100 GTUs's, most desirable FC to build for track use, no sunroof and all the TII goodies.

Clean Ohio title and still street legalish, no headlights, horn, or OE DOT seat belts.

Well sorted, race ready, needs nothing.

248/249 rwhp/tq tuned by the man Dyno Brian. Should be making more now with the underdrive pulleys, less restrictive exhaust, and now that it's broken in but I do not have the numbers for proof. Brian also believes more power can be had with a less restrictive throttle body.

Build thread, http://www.norotors.com/index.php?topic=4555.0

She started out racing in NASA Performance Touring D and has multiple wins in that class. A couple of years ago The folks from Road and Track and I started running her in the American Endurance Racing enduros, http://americanenduranceracing.com/ It took some development time but we came away with a podium finish at Mid Ohio swinging way above our weight. Even embarrassed an IMSA team passing both of their Porsche Caymens in the rain.

In AER trim on 180 tread ware street tires she has run a best of 140.8 on Mid Ohio club course and 214.2 at Watkins Glen. Figure 2-3 seconds faster on slicks.

She comes with multiple spares and enough rotors and pads for a full season. Two sets of 17x9 wheels, two sets of 17x8 wheels and some older BFG slicks and Hoosier rain tires.

Thanks for the kind words gents.

I'm horrible at selling things and left out so many details. Below is somewhat of a list to some questions asked,

Brakes are stock TII brakes using Hawk DTC60 and DTC30 pads.

Suspension is Stance coilovers with either 10k/8k or 8k/6k springs. 10k/8k are currently installed.

It has a clutch type TII limited slip that has been shimmed fro slightly more preload. 4:10 ratio.

Stock T5 transmission. Also, I have a spare T5 that comes with the car that functions but could use a rebuild.

Engine was rebuilt spring of 2015 and has approximately 30 hours on it.

-.030 over.

-Balanced rotating assembly.

-Stock rods with polished beams and resized with ARP rod bolts.

-Intense stage II cam, also balanced. I have access to cool toys, so why not.

-LS7 lifters and valve springs

-Double roller timing chain

-Ported heads with polished chambers. I can't remember the flow numbers off the top of my head but do have the flow sheet somewhere.

-Intense chromoly pushrods.

-Added 1/2 quart capacity to oil pan.

-Added approximately 50c.i. to the intake manifold plenum for better high rpm.

-Upper and lower intake ported and port matched.

-Mildly ported throttle body. According to my tuner, it could use a larger one.

-Full, equal length headers with merge collectors.

Much more I'm forgetting.

I built the rollcage above and beyond minimum requirements and added jacking points that extend through the floor for easy side to side jacking.

A few aluminum tidbits that you may or may not be able to see in the pictures.

-Vented hood

-Wheel spats

-Undertray from front TII lip to front axle centerline.

Besides the spare transmission, it comes with two rear bumper covers, driver and passenger doors, multiple S5 body mouldings, front and rear hubs, front and rear control arms, aluminum hood that needs a little work, hatches, TII side skirts, etc.....

If any of you are considering getting into track days this is a PERFECT car. Front engine, rear drive, light weight and fully developed. You cannot go this quick for this cheap in anything else and to top it off consumables and parts costs are really low too. Win /win.
