PRD2BDF
I got rear ended in front of my work. I was waiting to turn left to go into OSD. Moron didn't even see me stopped waiting with my left signal. Slammed into me at 45 mph Saab didn't have much damage however I had a fountain drink and half of it went on the dash... So Clifford? PRD2BDF
did the idiot stop and give you info or take off? The idiot hit me and he was basically incapacitated. Plus the tow truck was on my right picking up a disabled car and he immediately called the cops. They arrived on scene in two minutes. Impressive. I got all info. Not sure if you remember my old Saab, a Mustang slammed into me going 55 MPH. His was totaled and mine ended up being totaled (even though it didn't look like it!) I might have a picture of it still. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/2012-08-29_18-29-41_219.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c161/spedponcho/2012-08-28_19-51-10_275.jpg

RC K9
What does that do for me? I've never heard of it. Lets say pre-crash your carmax would have given you $10000. After the accident and your repairs, due to the accident, carmax will now only give you $8700. The value of your vehicle depreciated $1300. Now, the Ins co will come up with their own bogus value. I would advise you to actually get quotes from some various dealerships on precrash and post crash offers, but if you are satisfied with what the Ins Co offers as depreciated value, obviously you can always accept that. I am finding out more and more people don't know you can do that. I did it on my truck after a UPS truck bumped in to me and the outcome was HILARIOUS. I still smile when I think about how that situation turned out.

ShowHBK
EASTSIDE LOL Made me laugh more then I would like to admit. I dodge near death experiences almost daily in the Northland area going to and from work. Not that I am trying to stereotype or be racist, but there are WAY to many foreign/immigrant folks who clearly don't have a licence and nearly slam into you all the time on the Northland side. Glad your ok though man... Hope the person pays deep for hitting you.

zeitgeist57
Kevin Clifford for the repairs. I tried to call Kevin today but got no answer. I got a recording from time warner? Kevin repaired my CTS-V after sideswiping an Avalanche back in February and I was very happy. The Thunder Gray metallic paint was a bish to match but aside from the fuel filler door (small streak of metallic flake under the clearcoat), Kevin did a really, really good job. http://imgur.com/3rRjwDZl.jpg http://imgur.com/HFZSlDSl.jpg http://imgur.com/VuPEDAXl.jpg http://imgur.com/nGKiYWFl.jpg http://imgur.com/NAF2Sptl.jpg http://imgur.com/GazMq0Wl.jpg http://imgur.com/2mUQC5Gl.jpg Admittedly, it took a couple of months because he's busy - and it was a heck of a job that he did - but if you give him time you'll get great results. I have 5 other cars so I wasn't pushing him TOO much. Edited November 18, 2016 by zeitgeist57
