So, my Tahoe endured today's rain with the passenger window down (facing the rain). Do i start pulling pad and carpet and replace, throw a dehumidifier in there (I have 2), take to pros???

Man I had the t-tops off on my ws6 years ago.. was a nice sunny day. Went inside for like an hour and out of nowhere it poured, then was sunny again. Came outside and shop-vacced the entire fucking car. Pretty much got it all. Went back inside and it happened again. Raged so hard.

I agree that I'd remove what I can with a shop vac or extractor, then run the dehumidifiers in there for a couple days. If you can lift the carpet in a few areas to allow some airflow, it'll do wonders. Possibly invest in some mold inhibitor spray to hit it with.

A fan blowing under an edge of the carpet would help.
