I've tried cramming it in and it's too painful, no matter how I massage the end and angle the entry. If I have a good time with it and it's good for the machine, I may do it again, but no more than 2-3 insertions. I'll be sure to lube it up first, so you get your tool back ready to go again. Good call on the Autozone rental! Will start there. Dude, the HF thing is crap, from what I researched.
