TTQ B4U
So a referral came to me after seeing a fellow CR Members car and asked that I simply detail his engine bay to help with the sale of his vehicle. Car is a 2009 with 90k+ on the clock and regularly tracked. Keeping it simple with a few before and after pics: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065042/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065038/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065039/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065041/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065040/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168065056/original.jpg

TTQ B4U
How much does he want? Not sure....His name is John and is a friend of Eric's who owns the Midnight black M5 I did. He's on CR. John's number is 614-578-3288. He knows I'm putting a post up and that he may get some calls so you're good to do so. Car sounds great, runs smooth and handles....well.....great. He has some pretty wide meat on it. Square them off and it would likely handle better but the staggered look is nice though. My guess is he has about $5-6k in brakes and suspension/wheels. It's a Dual Clutch Car. Interior is really clean. 8/10 as it sits un-touched. Tim
ec_E92
Tim, nice work! My 2008 M3 engine bay looks about the same and I need to throw some love at that car now that it sits next to the M5 that is so fresh and so clean (clean). Might be giving you a ring about that. I'll vouch for John's (he goes by JD) M3. I've known him for several years, we've driven on track together, I've helped him bleed brakes, scan codes, etc. He's passively tried to sell the car (never posted on CL or autotrader, etc). He's looking to get around $25-26k I believe, and it has some nice mods: KW V3 coilovers, Stoptech BBK, exhaust, CF lip spoiler. The story on the front bumper is the car was wrapped for several years, he just pulled it off and some paint came with it (bumper was previously resprayed). So he bought a euro bumper (deletes the ugly US reflectors on the side) and I believe is getting it painted. I can also connect him with anyone from here if needed. I have zero skin in the game, just helping out a buddy - and trying to convince him to get a Mosler to replace the M3 so I can play with it
-Alex-
Great job on the engine bay detailing, but I think it’d be WELL worth the investment to have you do the whole car once the bumper is painted, for both the increased value and the high quality pictures!
