Looking to replace our a/c unit as it failed/started leaking last year and is still on old expensive coolant so re-filling it over and over is becoming expensive so looking for at least a 14 seer replacement. It's a 2,000 sq ft home so probably looking for a 3 ton unit. Any idea on what a good price around the area is for something like this? Also. . . any benefits of me ordering a unit from a site like hvac direct and having someone install it? Or do companies even dabble in installing 3rd party systems? I know nothing about this stuff.
