In testing a new compressor wheel for my GT42, we had a little whoops. Saw 980whp and just decided to send it. Issue is, my previous 50psi controller setting is now something near or over 60psi LOL. The bag news, it lifted the head. The good news- is it made 970whp before 8k RPM  The pull before it made 980whp at 8900rpm. Safe to say she was on her way to some JAM.

So, I put the hose back on and turned it back down to 40psi, and it made the same 850whp it did before. So I called it good and drove home. Track results coming soon....

^^ Something I'll not every likely have the pleasure of saying. You make it sound so easy and casual. Love it!

So, it’s AWD...right? Did you disconnect the driveshaft for the Dyno?

Love the updates and video. That little bugger is sick!

Thanks!

Yes, I weld the center diff to avoid buying about 3K worth of LSDs and a 4 spyder diff to help keep things together above 600 ft lbs. $0 is better than $3k. :). this effectively locks it in 4x4, so just removing the T case makes it locked 2wd

I figured the HG is either Fully foked, or it just chattered the head a bit, and I wasn't going to hurt it "more" hitting it again at lower boost. Only one way to find out right!? :dumb:
