Mace1647545504
I looked at a 97 Cobra. When I sat in it, no matter how far back and low I set the seat my knees were in the back of the steering wheel. Thinking something was stuck I looked under and around the seat but it looked free. I then moved the passenger seat back and it was in the same place. So my question is where would I look for new rails to mount to move it further back. Is it even possible to do? Thanks in advance
Aaron
You’re looking at something custom for the seat to go back. Lower only can be accomplished by aftermarket solutions. I had a 97 cobra and made a custom bracket for the stock seat, worked fine to get me places right at 6’6”. I’d farm it out to a pro if I did it again though. Mace1647545504
Who and or where could this be done? I was kinda hoping for a solution where I could just unbolt and unplug the power then reverse the process. I'm long legged and didn't fit well..whereas my son who's 6'1" and is long torsoed fit pretty well.
iwashmycar
If its a coupe, CJ Pony Parts makes seat extenders that give an extra 3" or so. If its a vert, then from what I read its a but more complicated.
