Is Russia becoming a power to worry about?

First they say the US's missile defense system in Europe is an act of war, and that they're backing out of the arms treaty and preparing to defend themselves. Now, they're expelling British diplomats, refusing to issue passports to British citizens, and backing out of counter-terrorism talks.

Right now i dont think so.The cold war is over..The do posses WOMD..I believe there problem is the fact that if we build this defense system there missles wont make it threw, there for making them a sitting duck..They just dont have the money to keep up.I watched a show on discovery the other day and there still in pretty bad shape.

In short there like a good ball player but forced to sit on the bench..

Remember that Putin was high up in the KGB and I am sure still has that mentality.

They are also still close alies with Iran and supply them with weapons and tech, so never rule them out for playing underhanded and they are no where near to being our friends.

+1. Why do you guys think we still have troops in germany. Not for our health. Its to keep the russians in check but I think they are getting tired of being so downtrodden and shitty and they ARE in bed w Iran and in turn in the same bed w Osama Bin (gonna get decapitated) Laden. They havent been our allies since the end of WWII.
