MidgetTodd
go to the pony and pick your price they stock em all for that bike seems like money is your concern so get the ones in your range theyll all be plenty good for street duty if your doing a bunch of track days then better just get over the cost issue

serpentracer
ferodo xrac or stac pads are the best there is. I've rode a few different bikes with EBC HH and Galfer sintered and my bike with Ferodo ST (sintered road) and they have a noticeable higher level of grip.the xrac pads are for 50% track 50% road use. ( engineered in conjunction with honda and yamaha world supersport race teams).the STAC(same as mine but with the holes drilled in them) are the sinter grip pads with array cooling holes. they are 75% road and 25% tack use.they cost more than standard organic pads but when you consider they last 3Xs longer it's actually cheaper in the long run. and have a much higher level of performance it makes it a no brainer.of course if you like a good set of brakes that is.if not go with what everyone else uses galfer and ebc.a tid bit of info about Ferodo's brakes.http://www.oppracing.com/products/600-ferodo-brake-pads/ Edited July 4, 2009 by serpentracer
kawipilot
Ferodo are great pads, but also consider Vesrah pads. They have worked well for me on several bikes and you can usually find 'em relatively cheap.
magley64
ask lizard what kind of brakes these were, and don't buy them....http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=14233
natedogg624
with your intentions i think you'll be fine with HH pads, EBC or Galfer i've tried them both it really doesn't matter.or you could skip that all together and jump directly to vesrah rjl's which are on a whole different braking planet compared to HH pads
serpentracer
ask lizard what kind of brakes these were, and don't buy them....http://www.ohio-riders.net/showthread.php?t=14233he won't say but someone mentioned carbon lorain and he said you are getting close.it can happen to any pad that is glued to the backplate.which is pretty much all of them. tomato_racing
Not to thread jack.... but I do quite a bit of street riding (for this season atleast) will the RJLs be too much and wear too quickly for street use?
natedogg624
i cant answer about the wear since i just installed them, but for the street so far they are fine. i just have to be careful that i dont grab a "normal" handful like i did on the HH or else i would flip the bike with these RJL's. 1 finger is enough to stop me for normal street riding.ill be in cbus - off campus early next week t-r, you are more than welcome to try the brakes out. PM me if you're interested.
