I'm cool for either the meetup at K of C, or just foing to rooster's. I'll be able to leave Johnstown around 8:30, possibly earlier. I knda like the idea of getting te OR group together and rolling in together, as it would just make it easier to find each other, since I know this is a big event.

It was just a suggestion... if nobody wants to meet at the KofC that's ok with me, just means I can sleep in and won't have to shell out bucks for donuts... and just cause I'm gonna get there at 830a does not mean everyone else has to, we can just roll in there and ride over together around 11a.... either way I need some decisions tonight..... if i don't hear or see anything by 10p tonight I will assume no one is planning to meet up with me and I'll just go over by myself when I feel like it....

It "starts" at 10 (registration) so if we meet beforehand I'd like to roll up at 10. I'm down with KofC between 9-9:30.

I'm game to meet up before hand! I would actually rather do it that way! If you're still around Moose, let me know what you're planning, if no meetup, I'll just make my own donut stop on the way, unless someone wants to meetup at Jolly Pirate or something? I was thinking about the JP on Main St in Reynoldsburg. Hell, is it even there still? Maybe a Tim Horton's somewhere? Moose got me thinking about donuts!!!!

Nice day today. Weather was great. Was fun having police/fire escorts thru all the towns and not stopping for a single stop sign or red light all day!

Heres a slideshow link to the pics I took...

Really it was a good ride. Thanks to everybody.

Moose/ReconRat, Always a pleasure Gentlemen. ( respecting my elders :D. )

Porter. Thanks for keeping me cool with the 2fiddy fan.

SwingR. You are one crop dustin' sombeach. Wipe twice tonight. :D

Tarr/Roaddog. Can't wait to roll with you two again.

The food was great. I didn't know they were feeding us too. Woot!

6 of the 7 attending OR folks were on imports.

I would say overall it was about 10% import 90% HOG.

0% drama. Whick as we say is priceless. We need more sport at next years.

Next time, I'll have to ride the Hon-duh. At least my 2-fiddy was begging to corner faster than those boring cruisers were going.. (No offense to Moose.) At least I got to hear what my bike would sound like if I ever find the pther 3/4 of a liter!

We still don't know how many there were, but the bikes appeared to stretch out about two miles on the road. We signed in around the 200 mark, and there were plenty after us. We were guessing 300 or a little over.

The classic event, was the lady that wanted everyone to get out of her way so she could pull onto the road. One of the road guards with passenger, physically blocked her entry with their bike. A rather nice argument was overheard by all that passed by. It wasn't a good idea on her part, since apparently most of the road guards were off duty police and firemen. Thanks again for the good job by the road guards. There were about 20 of them.

There were so many of us, that traffic approaching from the other direction, often pulled over and stopped. Even on four lane roads. Amazing. We had our fair share of little kids and big ones too, running out to watch the show.

Yes, I got stupid and left the key on in the Lancaster stop. Pointed at a wall where no one could see it was still on. Enough juice to power the fuel pump, but not quite enough to start. Thanks for the backward ride up the parking lot and the push start. It seems to have charged back up ok, and is starting normally. But I'm thinking it's about time to look for a battery. The battery has sounded a bit weak lately, and a new one probably would have taken the abuse.

I wanted to go, but haven't seen the wife much all week. Her idea of spending time with her is working on the house, but it's a win win so I shouldn't complain. Amazing day out today. I'm happy you guys had an awesome ride today. Maybe next year...
