good meeting you, Ian - I wish i'd been able to hang out more. I didn't think the race school would take so much time OFF track.

You got back up to speed really well considering your get-off. I know you ended up taking turn 5 way faster at the end of the day then you were going when you laid the bike down.

Do you have stock fork springs in your bike? between stock springs, rolling off, and the fact that the track goes UP hill there (which the video doesn't really show well), you could easily have over-loaded the front tire and tucked it.

Yeah, the suspension is all stock, haven't messed with anything.

Hey, Ian and Chris, I was pitted next to you guys. I have the custom primer paint job on my R6. Did you guys sign up for your license? I am going to wait till next racing season.

I didn't pay the $110 for my WERA license, but I may next season.

both of the Dave's from the class (primer 2005 RR, and red 2003 RR) raced teh following day.

Younger dave on the Red bike crashed between turn 4 and turn 5, and primer Dave finished second-to-last, but kept it on two wheels.

I think i would have ended up being about 5th from last, assuming neither Dave got a ton faster over night

that first race is killer... it's like $250

$110 race license

$60 transponder rental ($330 to buy!)

$85 for the race itself

and a tad more, if you need to buy yellow number plates, and black numbers (that's one of my winter projects)
