siggywiggy
i want to ride my bike to work again tomorrow. Its a 1 hour highway drive from mansfield to akron. My coworker wants to borrow my circular saw. Should i stuff it in a back pack and ride anyway? I just couldn't image going down with a circular saw strapped on my back. Zugin
If you do It I would suggest to take the blade off of it.

V4junkie
Riding a sportbike with a heavy backpack even for an hour sucks imo. Then you add to it that we're talking about a bladed powertool and I'd say skip it.
Likwid
That's tough, pre-saddlebags I tried to avoid a backpack at all costs.I'd say, if you're really keen on riding, take the blade off and put it under the seat, and then yes, put the saw in your backpack. dmagicglock
ah circular saws have a guard on them, you're safer leaving the blade "on the saw" if you're going to carry it. Besides... it won't be plugged in while you're riding. Throw some foam peanuts in your backpack with it and if you go down it'll be like landing on a pillow! okay maybe not... Likwid
those things are so akwardly shaped.... it's NOT going to be comfortable... on the cruiser if something was heavy enough I could just loosen my backpack and it would rest on my passenger seat... you don't have that luxury.
