bruisedk7
ok so i wrecked my bike back in july and have been trying to get all the paper work for my gap coverage. the gap people say i have to cancel any service contracts and such from the dealership(hinds) so i went in there 2 weeks ago thinking i would walk out wit a check for cancelling my contract. WRONG! 2 weeks later and i stil have no check from them and only a week left to get everything to the gap people. i call hinds again today to ask about my check and the fucking lady says its still not written and then she starts to tell me it hasn't been written yet because they are having money problems. while i do understand money problems ITS NOT MY FUCKING PROBLEM WRITE MY FUCKING CHECK ALREADY! i told her if they dont write my check then i will contact a lawyer and sue their sorry asses and she replies i can do that but they still wont have the money to pay for it. i called the gap people and asked them about this problem and i was told to have hinds write on company letter head how much i should be refunded and send that with all my other paperwork and they can submit it that way. heres the bug fucking problem i have now. IF HINDS DOESN'T CUT MY A REFUND CHECK I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT OUT OF MY POCKET! so now i have to pay my deductible plus what i am OWED from hinds

rick37
A heads up if you dont already know it,You still should be paying on the bike until the gap check gets to you,And the gap insurance should reimburse you for the deductable,If you do not continue to pay for the bike the loan company will report negative on your credit. If hinds still drags their feet get ahoild of the attorney general and they will look into and possibly send them a letter on your behalf. I have been through this before Good luck and you are correct thi is bullsh&t.
bigbluebird
aww shucks for hinds maybe i can give them money to show ahrma120 where i would put my air filter i hope it works out for you though. good luck
hue jass
Yea, you can't squeeze blood from a rock. If they don't have any money, they can't pay. You can sue all you want. How much you owed? If you can stay after them and keep your cool, you may be able to get it back.
bigbluebird
if it helps any the return from my plan was only like 120 ish i even have the scribble equation they used to calculate it if you need it
bruisedk7
i just got off the phone with them again and i was told they will try to give me some money now and then the rest later which is better to hear than nothing at all. when i was in the a the first time to get refunded they had a couple of mini dirtbikes. i started to ask if they would give me one of the minis and i would just pay what they owe me out of my pocket but she said they are gone before i could even ask but i would of been happy doing that because my kids want a mini for christmas. rick37 i have been paying on my loan as usual and have considered calling the better business bearu (spelling) but i have been hearing for several months that they are going out of business. i believe that after going into their store and seeing alomost nothing and when i looked on their website it looks like they no longer sell suzuki, truimph, or yamaha because all have been taken off their list of new bikes

bigbluebird
hinds does not respect or listen to the bbb found this post on another forum from the owner of Hinds on the same day he posted here. just in case anyone has any problems with hinds in the future be ready to go elsewhere or as the owner is often to say to take them to court because you are not going to get any help from the BBB or probably any other customer group Quote: From Jeff Hinds...Also for anyone else out there that wants to look at our BBB record. The BBB is not recognized by Hinds Motorsports nor are we a member nor will we answer any complaint filed there to them. The BBB grades you a F if you do not respond to them. The BBB is nothing more than a bully to businesses. If Customers want to talk in a reasonable manner will be treated with respect. You may or may not agree with the outcome and if we can't come to an agreement we can go to court. Where at least the judges are far more pragmatic. The BBB has no incentive to be fair to the business owner, Indeed their incentive is to always find in the customers favor regardless of the facts. linkyhttp://www.raptorforum.com/forums/sh...t=32602&page=4 __________________

RSVDon
Maybe if you'd quit fucking hinds then there'd be nothing to complain about.
LoneRanger
Karma. What goes around comes around. For Hinds that is. Sorry our member has to deal with the impacts
Tomcat0403
What he says about the BBB is partially true...they dont give a shit about your business unless you're a member...you will be graded poorly for even one complaint or bitching... Lost
Passed the store yesterday. The big plywood sign said entire store on sale XX% off. Sorry don't remember the amount. Sounds like they are going out of business to me.
Casper
I've never set foot into Hinds' date=' but they sure don't have a good reputation from what I've read on this site alone. Maybe it's an OR.net C-O-N-spiracy to shut them down so Ben can start his own shop. Hrmm... have to ponder this theory for a while. It sounds a little too convenient to be a coincidence. [/quote']Ben needs his own motorcycle shop like he needs a hole in his head. He does ok with working on them computer thingys.I would love to start my own dealership but I don't have the needed capital. Maybe one day. Goldie
I actually bought my bike from them and had an OK experience. If I'd had known what their reputation was like, I wouldn't have bought it from them.
bruisedk7
just got back from hinds and i got a whole $100 out of 640 but i guess that is better than nothing. the lady i've been talking to from hinds told me that they will probably be going under soon and she claims she isn't even getting paid to be there. if i wasn't getting paid i wouldn't report to work but maybe thats just me. just an fyi my sales experience with hinds was fine i even got a free helmet out the deal but every other experience has been bad from service to simple parts ordering
ninjascott
I would get you money's worth in merchandise at the 50% off rate n sell it on ebay. I'm sure they have a long line of creditors that are after them. I bet they owe yamaha a nie chunk of $$.

bruisedk7
they had a nice looking ponili pit bike i gonna call about and see if they will give me that instead of refunding me money. only problem wit that is they asking 900 for the pit bike and i supposed to get refunded 640 so i might have to give them a couple hundred for it which is fine except i dont really want to help them out any
