Someone come in to your office, tell you that something is wrong, then tell you that they know the diffence between two things. Then immediatly leave when you begin to investigate. Telling you that they will be back later.:mad::mad:

WTF?!?!

If it's not that effin important, then why couldn't it wait until later?

I know whats going to happen, said person is going to come back to my office later, and accuse me a changing something to make said person look dumb. Because before said person left, they said "Well I've had this problem before, but the next time I opened it, it was ok, so you must have changed something."

WTF?!?!

Wow, just figured out said person was looking at info for 2008, and not 2009.....I love my job, I love my job, I need a smoke.

Rant off :D

One of our mechanics at work is like that. He has numerous amounts of comebacks and he always finds some other thing wrong with the car as to why its not his fault. If we had someone to replace he would have been fired by now.

Ya know, occasionally I have something come back for some little tiny issue, and find another issue that I didn't get quite right that could be a potential issue. I think I have someone looking out for me on those! With that said, comebacks suck! I'm glad I don't get very many!!!!

What I really love, is when a customer brings us parts to fix their car, tells us what's wrong with it, then gets mad because what they told us to do didn't fix their problem! We had a guy take us to court over such a thing!

I'm not even gonna get started on the co-worker issues, because we're all friends outside of work (owners, and all of us) co-worker (that doesn't know which way to turn a wrench, but is still employed) is a member here, and the owner knows we're both on OR all the time, even during the work day. Not taking any chances!

(BTW, the comment about the co-work was a j/k, and it's really a pretty cool place to work, besides a few issues here and there.)

I HATE how at schools they now call it a "harvest festival" and at Christmas, a "Holiday" festival, or play. Tell it how it is.

That shit is fuckin we todd ed.

My kids school had a handful of muslims and suddenly we cant call the 2 hours of agony they make us sit through every year a Christmas concert, its a holiday concert, which should be ok since they wont let the kids sing Christmas songs.

This guy I work with averages 2-3 a week. Not that i have never had one but for the most part mine dont come back. I make all my money on the alignment rack and said "comeback kid" gets pissed cause I dont drive my alignments when done and our boss told him to shut the hell up that they dont come back so why drive them. And yes customers who try to tell me how to do my job is awesome. I also love the oil change only guy that comes in who has a mechanic for anything major but yet this "mechanic" of his cant change oil.

We don't have enough of a volume to keep anyone busy on the alignment rack, we're a small shop, with 2 full-time techs (Chevysoldier and I) the owner, and one part-time guy that works mainly on "project" vehicles. I don't think I've ever had an alignment come back that had good parts on it. We've had a few where they say get it close with the bad parts a time or two, and I don't remember any of them coming back either.

I have had THOSE weeks, where it seems like they ALL come back!
