Dan
I am planning a trip to the hocking hills area and could use some help. Were are the cheaper motels that are in the 50-60 dollar range and bike friendly? What roads are can't miss roads in the area ? Thinking of running 8 in Kentucky from Cincinnati , crossing over and heading up, spend the night and return the next day.. Any help would be great. Thanks Dan

I don't know if they are open right now. I go down for the annual winter hike in january

psyco1
cheapest place to stay:Kelty Teton 2, good tent, mine kept me dry this summer when we had an all night torrential downpour at Lake Hope.Rt78, 555, 56, 278, 664 and if you're will to travel a bit, Rt536 from Hannibal to 78 is great. This place is relatively cheap, http://www.shawneeinn.net/it's right off of 664 on Lake Logan Rd., the Mexican restaurant by the Holiday Inn is pretty good too.If you like good beer, check out the liquor store in Nelsonville, they have a great selection for being in the middle of nowhere.
