Need some help - for the troops

We're moving forward with the sending magazines to the troops idea. We already have several dealerships around Columbus eager to be drop points and help promote it. More dealerships around the state are in the works. There will be drop boxes at each location, and will be up for 2-4 weeks. Afterwards, I (and whoever else volunteers) will be picking them up to drop off at the USO, who will be shipping them out. I plan on including a bunch of OR stickers as well.

So what's needed.....

First, I need a poster made up. Some sort of poster to put on the boxes identifying what they're for. Black and white preferably (so they're cheaper to print). I'm thinking 8.5x11 landscape, but whatever. It should have something about dropping off used/new magazines to be sent to the troops overseas, the OR logo somewhere on it, something about no pornography (not allowed, oddly enough), etc. Maybe something like "help Ohio Riders send magazines to the troops". I don't really care, but the catchier the better.

Next, letter(s) to the troops. It could be one letter written collectively from everyone on here, a letter from an individual, whatever. I'm kinda thinking it would be cool to just have whoever wants type up a quick paragraph saying whatever, and we'll just combine them all. I plan on putting something in there about sending us pictures of our stickers on random shit. Hehehe.

So, let's see what y'all got!

I got lots of magazines, just let me know the details

Now that I think about it, some of the folks I work with get 10-20 magazines a week, lots of trade mags but a ton of random things like sport riders to playstation... I can have them hold off on recycling them, might have a couple thousand lying around for all I know.

I'm sure they classify it as anything with nudity

You are correct. Although some of those same magazines are sold in the PX/BX, they can be shredded if found in the mail. Rulez is rulez...

Generally the showing of genitals is disallowed (in magazines mailed into the country). In more severe countries like Saudi Arabia, even a bikini or swim suit picture might be too much.

It has nothing to do with that. It's against General Order 1B.

Prohibited Activities:

d. Introduction, possession, transfer, sale, creation, or display of any pornographic photograph, videotape, movie, drawing, book, or magazine, or similar representations. For purposes of this order, "pornographic" means any medium which displays human genitalia, uncovered women's breasts or any human sexual act. It is intended to include not only "obscene items," but items of "art" which display human genitalia, uncovered women's breasts, or any human sexual act.
