Uhh, I'm pretty sure you made it clear that these ladies weren't real bikers in your mind, therefore you determined who was and wasn't a real biker. If you think that YOU are a biker (with no bike) how are you any more qualified than these old ladies?It would be different if these older people were bikers to begin with. Clearly, they've seen the motorcycles...and the the people associated with them....and want to play the part. Look like them, dress like them, etc. They're putting make up on for god's sake...to look like bikers. Quoted from the article...to look "fearsome". Really? I think if this was a group of 18-50 year olds, people would be singing a different tune. You don't become a biker to look cool, or try to fit in with people....or just to say you were on a bike. Your a biker, because you love motorcycles...the performance....the sounds, the smells, the sights, the ride....everything. Not just one part of it. To look cool. You know....if this was a bunch of 20-30 year olds, all of them would take it one step further. Buy some 150-180 hp sportbikes....some V-rods, and harleys with ape hangers, maybe buy some chaps...bandana's, skull caps, half helmets and wrap the bike(s) around a tree. All in part...because they wanted to look cool. I don't really take too much seriously. However....i would be more than happy to make you see your problem...my way.Really? That's how you roll? Like a fashion statement. No...what pissed me off is...wtf do you come off calling people "not real bikers".....who actually ride? You ride a dirt bike...a dual sport? To me...that's not really a motorcycle...but i didn't pass judgement on you. That's what you ride, you enjoy it...maybe your even good at it? As long as you don't ride it to be a poser...then so be it...i'm happy for you. But...again...i didn't say you were not a real biker. As you did me. I'm just trying to figure out who made you important enough...to make that decision. I've owned around 6 bikes....last year, being my 1st sportbike. I went down on it last year....i'd like to think i learned from that, and hope to get back on one asap....and i have a plan to do that. That's more....than i can say about some. Btw....i wasn't the one who started anything. I believe 1st....you said i had no balls...no wait....the old people who don't ride....had more balls than me. If people are doing dangerous stuff....for the wrong reasons, then yes. To look cool, to do something as a fashion statement, to fit in....they're eventually gonna get what's coming to them. They're doing it for all the wrong reasons. They're eventually gonna get what's coming to them. An injury....or possibly worse. No one wants to see that happen.
