jbot Posted May 3, 2010 Report Share Posted May 3, 2010 trackday reportmet up with blue, and we got into grattan after 10~11pm. they did not let us in,but i think if you get there on late sat maybe they'll let you in? just not on friday,unless MX track is running. doesn't make any sense.weather wise, both sat and sun was wet in the morning, and dry by lunch. so we lost2 sessions, though i ended up riding on sat morning because i wanted to ride slow andremember what the track was like (this was my first trackday of the year, and 2nd year ontrack). during the afternoon sessions, it was as good as it gets.interestingly enough, as soon as the rain stopped, the crashes started. in all groups.happily, i did not fall. managed to cut a couple seconds from my best time last year,so I was pretty happy.as usual, STT staff (including blue) were awesome and accomodating. I got towed aroundby a minimum of 3 staffers and given 1 on 1 instruction.Grattan is an awesome track... as they say, "if you can ride at grattan, you can ride anywhere"oh, apparently, Taylor Knapp was there?
