CBR 600RR headlight not working

the right headlight for my CBR is out, I bought a replacement bulb .. no change. plugged it into the left wiring and things worked fine. High beam works. Opened the small plastic casing behind the bulb and the wiring looks connected fine. Has anyone else had a similar problem to this? What could be causing just the low beam to be out?

do both of the headlights on the 600rr come on with the low beam, most new bikes only have the one light on unless you have the high beams on.

Because one side is low beam only and the other side is high beam only, its not suposed to work.

The left side should be the low beam and right should be the high beam if I'm not mistaken. What do you mean by plugged it into the left wiring and it works fine? You plugged the low beam harness into the high beam bulb?

When you flip your high beams on, both lights don't come on?

There is no switching , he doesnt know what he's talking about.... right side is high beam only no low beam, period. Left side low only, period, nothing to switch.
