If that doesn't get it spinning, and you have battery voltage to the started when the button is pressed, you need a starter. If you don't have voltage there, you need to test the starter relay. If the battery was weak, he probably would have heard some noise from the starter, or starter relay. If it was strong enough to push start, it likely would have made some noise. What is the voltage when you starter button? What is the voltage when the bike isn't running? What is the voltage at 5k with the bike running?If it is the starter there is a guy selling rebuild kits on ebay. If you need help hit me up in a pm with a phone #!
