Well it's not me who needs it. As you know, I'm trying to sell my bike and I keep getting strange trade offers. One was a commercial grade 32" walk behind mower and another was a 3 carat diamond set. I was convinced the diamond set was a scam, so I told him to sell them and bring cash thinking it would call his bluff. Well, he responded saying he's willing to sell them and if I knew of a place, so here we are.

You're doing his legwork for him.

You're his bitch.

What concern of it is yours how he gets the money. Tell him to bring you the money -- why are you doing his homework? C'mon teach...

Will you run errands and google search stuff for me too?

I want to sell my bike and honestly, I haven't gotten many bites. Clearly he is incompetent with searching the internet, which means he may also fail to look up KBB and/or NADA values. If this gets my bike sold, then the time was well spent my friend.

I suppose... but if he's that incompetent to being with, I have a feeling the transaction process won't go smoothly for you and won't be worth the hassle in the end.

But, more power to ya if you can get it done. GLWS, LBTS and all that.

Why not put it in eBay. It's only about a buck a round. Put a reserve and a buy-it-now on it and start the listing at 9pm Monday through Wednesday.

A pawn's not going to give you anything for it because you're selling it to someone who doesn't want it. You need to reach more people. GL

I am interested in your bike. I will also be able to pick it up today or tomorrow, your choice. $2000 CASH :)

Daaaamn, at least a CL dude offered me a commerical grade lawnmower with his $2000 cash.

:wtf: Did you even read the other posts? I'm not taking my bike to a pawn shop.

$2,001 PLUS I'll have 1000rrRider mow AND trim the yard for this year AND next. This includes picking up sticks, raking leaves, etc. Lemme know.

Seriously, though, I don't blame you for putting some extra effort into getting it sold. Point him to the pawn shop, let him do the rest.

I'm guessing that you wouldn't get anything for the mower either, as many companies are going out of business, and its nearing the end of their season. 32" is a pretty small commercial mower.

My ex-wife picked out an antique wedding ring (long story) she 'had to have' at a pawn shop type jewelry store. Years later, we found out most of the diamonds were fake. She still has it, and now I think it's pretty funny that it's fake.
