I go every spring and fall. If you have never been before go on Saturday and plan on staying until at least about 930pm to see the night shoots. They have machine gun rentals on Saturday as well where you can shoot all kinds of guns for about $30-40 per magazine. Mind you, the lines are long, but if you have never shot a machine gun before you will certainly have an opportunity on Saturday. Otherwise the normal gun show stuff with lots of ammo, camo, parts, etc.

Theres not enough to make it worth the weekend. Satuday is really the only day to go. If we got a group together the thing to do is stop in Lousiville on the way down and check into a hotel and leave all our stuff there. Then run on down to Fort Knox for this and head back to Louisville to party after the night shoot. Lousiville has some pretty good nite spots and a riverboat casino.

Mostly old dudes, its not a young partying crowd. And allot of LEO and ATF in the area for the weekend. Not the good time you'll have in Louisville.

Old guys are the only ones that can afford all of the full auto crap. I went down around 12 years ago and it is a good time if you are a machinegun loving-redneck-hilljack. I had a good time. Slept in the back of the exploder and came home sunday morning.

I got to run a magazine through a full-auto/suppressed Ruger 10/22 for $5. A good 5 seconds of fun right there. I figured out that the guy could have easily paid for his rifle, suppressor and tax stamps in just that one weekend.
