It's a good looking bike (I'm partial to nakeds) but, I think it was pretty dumb to make another naked so close in size to the top dog of your line. They should of kept it a 600 and brought out a 250 as well. Yamaha really has poor choices for newbs.

Although I absolutely love the look, I would just get the FZ1. They should have put that styling into the FZ6, but with undertail exhaust. IMO

if Im not mistaken I think they are doing away with the FZ1. that's why they have the FZ8

It's probably a good bike, and a better choice for most than a sportbike...but just like other nakeds, I doubt it will be a big seller in the US.
