RFM
Six kids plus driver in a pick up truck? Is that the Clown Car Edition F-150? The driver of that truck committed negligent homicide, and all that is said is "the rider didn't make it." No normative evaluations of the driving, which there clearly should have been if he was left of center. If it were the other way around, you know there would be a statement like "the rider failed to negotiate the turn..."
Ziggy
It's sad, one of the first responders said as he and his wife ran to the scene, he thought someone had thrown a bag of laundry in the road. It wasn't until they were right on top of him that he realized that bag of laundry was the rider. He said his wife was pulling the kids from the truck one after another. Apparently that turn has caused issues before, residents suspect there will be more issues yet to come as well.
Jamez
If the pickup was left of center as reported he either had no control over his vehicle or was distracted by all the kids in the truck. Either way its negligent and he needs to face charges. I haven't heard anything about potential concequences. Its very sad and could have been any one of us seeing as the pickup crossed the divider. Atleast he died doing something he loved. Rest in peace
hue jass
Plus, the only way you could get that many kids into a crew cab is if they were small kids. Were they all in proper seats? I hope the family looks deep into this crash.
