Casper Posted May 13, 2011 Report Share Posted May 13, 2011 On evening of May 11 2011 Eric Houston took his own life.Eric leaves behind his wife Robin, daughter Delia 12, and sons Jacks 2 and Cooper who was born a few months ago.HOUSTON Eric Neil Houston, age 41, of Blacklick, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Eric attended Grove City Church of the Nazarene, was active with The Ducati Motorcycle Club and loved traveling to Vermont. He is survived by his wife, Robin; children, Delia, Jackson and Cooper; parents, Dan and Linda Houston; and his brother, Bill and his wife Melinda Houston. Friends may visit Monday from 5 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. at THE GROVE CITY CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 4770 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio. Memorials in Eric's memory may be made to: The Green Mountain Club, 4711 Waterbury - Stowe Rd., Waterbury Ctr., Vermont 05677. He was an active member on desmohio and lurked on here. I had the pleasure of hanging out with him several times, and I'm glad I got the opportunity to meet him. Several from here were good friends with him. He didn't die on the bike, but I still consider him a fallen rider. Service starts at 7 pm. There will be a sit down dinner for everyone that comes.Ride to Houston's Wake. The wake is Monday in Grove City. Lets meet at the clubhouse anytime after 3pm.
