this is the third time we have taken this annual trip.

3 years ago i decided i wanted to make sure me and my father get atleast one good 3 day adventure in. Every year we have kept the promise.

this time was a little extra special, cause i got to ride with my father and my 76 year old grandfather. 3 generations of Hoblicks riding together.

I had my wife with me as well, and a few others went to!

my father had the trip all planned out left on saturday morning returned today.

we took RT 16 from WV into Virginia, ended up in Marion Virginia, next day Rode RT311 into Roanoke and into Lewisburg, on that route we jumped off and rode some of the blue ridge as well, then headed back up 60 the next day and stopped at new river gorge and Hawks nest.

it was a great ride, great weather.. im very happy i can enjoy these things with family..

now on to the pics..

So how's that StreetGlide ride? I'm curious. I'm betting it's a good one. Happy with it?

rides really good, its lite on its feet for a big bike.

obviously it doesnt handle like the other bikes ive owned, but im ok with it.

its a great touring bike that has alot of character.

and it will get me anywhere i need to go in comfort.

i may raise the back up a little bit though.. after i lowered it i can really tell the loss of ground clearance in the corners

That is awesome to see you able to ride with the father and grandfather. My dad has ridden bikes for years but has not had a bike since I have been alive, but I would love to take a trip like this with him.

Also, I know exactly where those Roanoke pics where taken. I used to live there for 2 years and traveled the Blue Ridge in that area quite often! Can't wait to move back so I can ride it on the bike!!

Sounds like it was a great trip!
