Is that normal when the procession is over so many cars long?i have seen that a few times, they do that so that they can speed up front and block intersections cuz they are either a large group or in a busy area, those are the only times i have seen it. When my friends brother passed last year there were so many cars in the funeral procession that I along with 2 of my friends were asked to help be additional escorts in our vehicles. I know a lot of people will flame on here, but when my gpa died, it meant a lot to my family, and I know it meant a lot to me. I personally think this is how it used to be and how it still should be, but whatever floats everyones boat.If it is a multi lane 1 direction lane, highway, middle lane, etc. then yes, I slow, and will pass, but I do acknowledge them mentally and always make mental note.+1If you've ever been part of the procession you'll see how this little seemingly insignificant act means to the family and friends. It a sign of being sympathetic to their loss. Unfortunately, I've been part of several of these and do acknowledge the act and try to pass it on.Etiquette is washing your balls before you teabag a chick.ROFLMAO!! It's a judgement call - dunno by who (police or funeral home?) but if it it in the interest of safety then the police will provide an escort.
