Just curious, how long have you ran a dealership? Ok then. Did anyone who is complaining about the price even do a search on Cycle Trader to see what these are selling for at other dealers? If you have ever delt with this dealership or myself you would know that there will never be a 16 year old leave this place with a liter bike. Won't happen period. Honestly I would prefer you just stay out of my threads or just the forum period since I have yet to see one useful post ever by you. I take pride in being one of the more active sponsors on here and I don't feel sponsors should be protected from criticism, but at least get some grounds for your criticism or just keep to yourself.

Yet to see a useful post from me EVER

Please... I probably sell more bikes in a year than you do ;)

I'll stay out of your threads.. SURE.. I'll also tell every single person I know to never do ANYTHING with your dealership.. I'm decent at marketing and advertising, and probably can reverse market and advertise just as well :D

Good luck with your dealership.. I hope you guys continue to sell junk bikes and do half ass work on other peoples stuff..

I can understand your point on that, but know that this is not the first time he has felt the need to dump in someone's thead and it gets old quick.

Thank you for understanding our position. Just for a little insight a friend provided these links to me in efforts of maybe shining a little light on that our price is not out there.

03 w/20k miles and "fresh paint" for $4300: http://toledo.craigslist.org/mcy/2480709432.html

02 w/29k miles for $4700: http://annarbor.craigslist.org/mcy/2502897529.html

00 w/30k miles for $4000: http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/2523191105.html

Those are craigslist prices where you do not get any assurance or possibility of financing or warranty coverage.

Craigslist "LIST" prices, not what people will pay..

ALSO, yours is almost 1K more or MORE than every bike listed.. 1 K is a lot when you are talkinga bout 5K total..

I tend to buy and sell more than my fair share of bikes. Ask anyone that knows me :)

There's no shortage of used bikes avialable. So, unless it's an uncommon model, the asking price makes a big difference to me (not that I ever pay asking price). If the asking price is 10-15% more than I'm willing to pay, I'll just look for the next one. Not that negoiting more than 10-15% is impossible, but why bother? If it's an uncommon bike, there's probably few around and also few buyers around (if there were lots of buyers it wouldn't be an uncommon bike, right?) and there is usually more room to negotiate.

It makes no difference to me if someone asks $10k for a bike I feel is worth $5k, I just wouldn't call. The market is self correcting anyways, if it sells great...if not you may need to drop the price.

;)

Click the "Mileage / Equipment info" link. That price assumes 30,800 miles. Less miles (less than a 1/3 of what's considered average) obviously equals higher price. FYI.
