RFM
My Aprilia is worth $25,000. I put a new exhaust on it (it's almost as loud as a Screamin' Eagle!!!!), and head the headers ceramic coated. I even had some custom paint work, and shocks customized for me. If that doesn't make my bike worth $25,000- I don't know what does. I rev the shit out of it when I go through tunnels, because chicks really dig that. One day, I might get laid because of my $25,000 bike.

The street that was taken from, the value he put on the bike is higher that 98% of the houses there.

mgbgt89
Who cares what he could get out of it if he sold it. I wouldn't doubt he has 25K in that bike, dealer installation charges for bolt on chrome isn't cheap. He wasn't trying to sell it, it got stolen, and that sucks. Hope insurance gives him the money to put together an identical bike. I hate to think what would happen if my bike got damaged/stolen. I'm pretty sure insurance would pay me by the pound for it. It's not pretty, to most it wouldn't be worth 500 bucks. I've got countless hours in working on it, not that much money as far as bikes go, but i'm sure i've got more in it that i would get if it was stolen. I've got over twice as much money in piston rings alone than i paid for the bike originally.

Pokey
I don't care what type bike you ride...its the stereotypical HD personality and attitude I dislike.Except allot of it is true. There are all kinds of folks that ride/own bikes......to each their own about how they want to live it. I do however dislike the "ride to live/live to ride" statement and then very few actually do that. But......they sure do act and dress that way. Do you know why so many riders "especially Harley" park under and overpass when it is raining? Well allot has to do with it getting their chrome extra dirty, but the other is that rain hurts like hell when you have NO GEAR on. The SAME can be said for allot of squid riders out there too, I personally prefer the pirates over them anyday. I too feel bad for the guy, but I doubt it is worth the 25K he is stating. Many of us upgrade and accessorize our rides and we lose our butts on it, very few would get back what they have invested. Pokey
if you own a harley and a sport bike and actually ride both and rack miles up does the world implode?when they are in the garage alone together do they argue back and forth of which one is better, or do they make sweet sweet interacial bike love.. spewing fluids all over like a bukkaki porno. maybe thats why alot of harleys leak, maybe its not a leak but a wet dream of one night with a jap, or a sweet sweet sexy little euro bikeThat is so awesome Ryan!!!!!!!
