I go in next Thursday to have 2 procedures done on my right should that is going to turn me into a 1 arm bandit for for at least a month and off work probably a few weeks longer. First 2 weeks are complete imobilzation then the rehab starts with the goal of being on my sled by Feburary 1st. Looking for movies, books, ideas to help pass the time. bandit12 Posted October 4, 2011 Report Share Posted October 4, 2011 I know where you are coming from, I had my arm in a sling for four weeks and wasn't allowed to do anything for another two weeks with that arm. I told the Dr. that she had to send me back to work, a man can only watch so much Roseanne. I had two kids to help keep me company though.
