  2. OK, I have a Genie Intelli G 1000 3/4 horse, belt drive on a 7' rail for sale. It has a brand new circuit board, previous lost a relay control, new photo eyes and wall button control. No instructions, can be downloaded one line. Unit is less then 2 yrs old and is the new DC motor design. Very strong and very quiet. I live in Springfield, Ohio and work in Columbus if a meet up is needed. I can also install this unit for a fee. Asking: $150.00 for Opener, or $200.00 installed at your residence. I consider Columbus, Dayton, Springfield region local. If farther away we can discuss travel time. Call me @ 937-508-5477, or drop me a note on here if interested. E-mail: decolag@hotmail.com Ride safe all. Greg
  3. This looks like a pretty good time, even if we can't go for a ride. I'll do my best to be there, and might have some Crock Pot chili traveling with me. Everyone be safe for that New Years Eve stuff, Greg PS: I have a 1000 wat Audio system that can rock the rafters if you want me to bring I can.
  4. Sounds like a good plan. Greg
  5. Coming home from the Labor Day Ride on Sunday, I had a State Police officer make a very interesting turn-around. I had just passed a flatbed big rig that had some very strange wind coming off its uneven load. I,m on St Rt. 29 heading W., I power around him and start coming down from about 75 or so down to around 60. A white car is well ahead of me, I am now doing about 64 and I see the cars brake lights come on about a 1/4 mile ahead of me. It moves to the shoulder and then the lights come on. I figured he would let me pass and then hit me up with a speeding ticket. But instead he pulls out from the shoulder and is blocking both lanes, I hit the brakes, now about 300 yrds from him, he puts it in reverse, swings it around and is now heading toward me in the oposite lane. I am down to about 40 when I get close, he has a surprised look on his face when he sees me. He gives that OH SHIT look and wave, and then powers away in pursuit of the car that blasted both of us going E. I am sure he was focused on his radar, and just missed me coming up from behind, but when he split the roadway, that few seconds had me thinking he was going to block me. Thank goodness he didn't, but his little manuver wasn't as safe as it could have been. Just goes to show you, even well trained drivers can make mistakes. Ride safe all, Greg
  6. Well if you missed it, you missed it. Great job Brian and of course Thanks and many cudos to Glen for allowint a bunch of misfits invade his personal abodde. Short of being left high and dry at the exit of the Speedway, it was great riding, excellent group organization, and wonderful temps for riding. Looking forward to next year already. Everyone ride safe out there. Greg
  7. I'LL SEE YOU ON FRIDAY EVENING, RIDE SAFE ALL, GREG
  8. OK, If anyone is interested in the 2 dayer that I mentioned on Pg.1, I will be starting my run on Sunday. I will head S on St, Rt. 68, and can meet anyone that wants to come along at Youngs Jersey Dairy around noon. This is for the Northern guys, more South, it will be Hillsboro at the gas station just before 73 and 247 link-up. That should be around 1 or so. Last minute participants are always welcome, or drop me a note on here if you are interested. I plan on getting out early on Mon., so I can get home by noon or 1 and enjoy some of the day with the wife. Let me know if you can go. Ride safe all. Greg
  9. With my Concours C10 fairing, I nade an "L" shaped bracket and mounted my Hero just under the Left mirror. I shored up the pocket lid with a few screws and foam, and the mount is very stable. My videos are the best I've ever had. Ride safe all, Greg
  10. What about a 2 day ride ? Here is an idea, Sunday afternoon, head down to Hillsboro and hook up with 73. Do the afternnon run to Portsmouth, head SW on 52 and 125 W to Shawnee State Park and camp the night. Crack out on Mon. morning , still on 125 to Blue Creek for breakfast, then to West Union and 247. Bring 247 back up to Hillsboro and get lunch, then split off and head home from there. I have done this ride quite a few times, a couple times in reverse, either way it is just wonderful. WV is nice, but we have some wonderful roads right here in Ohio, you just have to know where to look. Just a suggestion. Ride safe all. Greg
  11. A very nice weekend for a ride, good idea. Good seeing you again Brian, as well as Steve. Maybe next time you can come over here to my neck of the woods for a run. Everyone ride safe, Greg
  12. Epic ride in Hocking was wonderful. Camped at Old Mans Campgrounds in Hocking State Park.

  13. Well there are some pretty good ideas out there about selective breeding. First thing is to kill her parents, can you imagine what they looked like. Second, well you can imagine second, what a waste of good air. Fugly just doesn't do it justice. Ride safe all, Greg
  14. There just isn't enough bandwidth to start into this one. So just ride safe, and please ATGATT. Greg

  17. I will again, host a Polar Ride from my residence on Jan. 1st. The basics: The roads must be dry or drying, and no rain in the immediate forecast. Temp. is what you can ride in, teens and it is a NO-GO. Extended forecasts are calling for high 50.s and dry. We will see. I will serve a warm lunch and drink, no alcohol. Meet here at my residence in Springfield, Ohio. 1975 Willoughby Ave. 100 to 150 miles, with split offs for your ride home. I will be updating this post through the 31st., so keep the drinking to a minimum and get a good nights rest. Please post if you might attend, so I know how much food to prep. Ride safe all, Greg
  18. Ok, a neighbor of mine that just down sized his living quarters has some very sweet wood working tools for sale. He does not have a puter, and has not put these up for sale in the local paper, I told him that maybe some inmates on here might like first crack. Here is what he has: Shop Smith on Casters Drill Press, 36" wood lathe, 10" Table saw, 12" Sanding discs, all books, instructions and handtools. Additional accessories: 10" Band saw, 4" Joiner, and a 20" scroll saw, EX trays. In looking this up on a number of value websites, it values out between 4 and 5K. He is asking just $2500. He also has: Power Pro Planer 4 x 12 Valued at 1k asking $695. Sears Radial Arm Saw asking $150. All the equipment is in excellent condition, he just doesn't have room for it in the new condos garage. If interested, call Chuck @937-390-3555 , leave message if necessary, and he will call you back to set up an appointment. Thanks for looking, Ride safe all, Greg
  19. Well I tried getting this damn thing up and operational, but no luck. It has a burned circuit board. And it is not cost efficient to repair. As far as the remotes, I am keeping one for my extra and the other I gave to my daughter, sorry. Ride safe all, Greg
  20. Give me a call Alan. I'm in Springfield. I could do this for you any evening. Greg
  21. Saturday the 1st. looks like a pretty good day for a ride, thinking a late morning meet-up, say 11:30 @ Youngs Jersey Dairy. A couple of hours of riding before the sun goes down. I have a pretty good route, not real technical, but very scenic. I'm doing it regardless, but some inmates could make it more enjoyable. Greg
  22. I have an Overhead Door "Legacy" model Opener for a 7' high garage door for sale. It is a chain drive with 2 photo eyes and wall button. I also have 3 remotes for your vehicles. It has a 2004 build date and has been used on a secondary garage door, not the main door. The previous owner kept his lawn equipment behind this door on his side garage. It is in perfect working order, I can even install it for you if needed. As long as I don't have to drive across the state. I'll let the opener go for $50, and install it for another $50 if needed, and possibly gas, depending on location. Drop me an email @ decolag@hotmail.com or call me @ 937-508-5477 if interested. It just needs a good home. Thanks for looking, Greg
  23. Thanks to all for your well wishes. I just wish i could heal-up like I used in my younger years. Everyone ride safe out there. Greg
