C-bus
Rest in Peace, Marco. What a shame! He was one of my favorites to watch and I looked forward to watching him come up in the ranks. Edited October 23, 2011 by C-bus

bacchus
Horrific...you know Colin and Vale were stuck and couldn't go anywhere...and watching Marco not moving and his helmet bouncing down the track?
SJC1000rr
RIP Marco. I feel sick after watching that video. Vale tried to get out of the way but there wasn't enough time.
RVTPilot
Truly sad. This kid was an up-and-comer. Very fast and while a little rough around the edges, was begining to refine his craft. Godspeed, Marco.

cmh_sprint
RIP Marco. You were bit of wild child but a great rider with a what appeared to be a successful GP career in front of you. Thoughts and prayers to the entire MotoGP and Simoncelli families.2 deaths on 2 Sundays both tragically ending succesful careers. It truly shows how fragile life is for these folks that we watch week in and week out push the limits of themselves and the machines they race. obesityrules
RIP, but that guy was out of control. He caused several crashes early this year (and last year). After he broke Pedrosa's collarbone, you could tell other riders would actively avoid his reckless riding style.

He was dicing with Bautista for fourth, was fighting a low side and that sent him across track into Edwards and Vale...thankfully, Bautista and Hayden had already made it past.He was a hell of a rider and was fighting to win to the end. raw does not mean reckless. At least he died doing what he loved.
