Bigroach
As most of you know I started Mobilization training to go to Afghanistan several months ago. I'm back at home with what I hope is only a minor spinal injury. I have a herniated and torn disc in my lower spine. I've been told it will take three to six months to recover. I'm now considered medically non-deployable. The rest of my Company arrived in Afghanistan about a week ago.I broke my phone while I was down there, but I managed to get a few pics during my time at Camp Shelby, MS.Small Pox Vaccine

Pfloydgad
Roach,I have a question. Are they going to operate to fix that disc and tear ?I'm not trying to drag this on, but discs don't heal by themselves, they need surgery to fix, trust me. I have had 2 disc surgeries in my life, without that kind of repair, you will not heal. I really hope the military doesn't drag you through therapy, it is useless for a damaged disc.Good luck, and request surgery if possible.Ride safe all, and please, ATGATT.Greg
